Before you write
The answers below cover most questions. The how it works page walks through a first edit, and for engineers explains setup, security and review isolation for the developer on your team.
The preview says my workspace is paused for budget.
Each team has separate AI and workspace budgets. A team owner or admin can add prepaid budget, connect the team’s own AI account, or adjust the monthly cap under Settings → AI. Nothing is charged for a paused session.
My repository does not appear when connecting a project.
Repositories are listed through the GitHub App installation. Choose “Install the GitHub app” and share the repositories you want, or use Bring a dev to have the person who manages the code connect it. GitLab and Bitbucket are connected by a developer through the same setup link.
The preview is blank or shows an error.
Use Reload preview first. If the environment failed to start, the failure screen offers Ask AI to investigate, which explains the startup log in plain terms. Some projects need credentials or a database only a developer can provide; the editor tells you when that is the case.
An edit was refused as a protected part of the project.
Developers can mark parts of a project as theirs. Use Ask a developer in the editor and they receive the request with the paths you tried to change.
I sent a review; can I keep editing?
Yes. Later edits stay in your workspace, and Update review sends them to the same review request, so your developer has one place to look.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Delete account. It removes your profile, saved changes and workspaces, and cancels subscriptions on teams you own. Reviews already sent to a repository remain there.
Security issues
If you believe you have found a security problem, email hello@revise.build with “security” in the subject and do not test it against other people’s projects. We reply to every report.
Service status
If the whole product seems down, the public health check at /api/health reports whether the service is configured and running. Anything more specific, ask us.
